Tesco teamed up with Groundwork to launch its community fundraising scheme, which sees grants of £4000, £2000 and £1000 – all raised from the 5p bag levy – being awarded to local community projects. Bags of Help offers community groups and projects across the UK a share of revenue generated from the 5p charge levied on single-use carrier bags. The public will now vote instore during March and April on who should receive the £4000.00, £2000.00 and £1000.00. If you are visiting a Tesco store local to Surbiton, Kingston, Norbiton, Worcester Park or New Malden (Express Stores) then please ask for a token when you purchase your shopping and please VOTE FOR MAN&BOY!!
