On Saturday 7th June friends of MAN&BOY came together for ‘A ride into Battle’, a cycle challenge to Ashburnham Place, Battle, the home of MAN&BOY’s summer camps.
The 7th June cycle event was a ‘Ride into Battle’ as we made MAN&BOY’s voice heard in the national debate on the unique challenges that boys face and fundraised to support them in the battle ahead.
The dedicated team of MAN&BOY supporters, staff and trustees dodged the showers and rode together to Ashburnham Place. They then enjoyed a well deserved afternoon tea and a tour of the grounds to see where the M&B tents are erected and where our activities take place. 20th - 22nd June was our flagship summer camp and it was wonderful to get a sneak preview of the lake and grounds so close to our camp.
The training and effort paid off and supporters managed to raise almost £10,000 to help run our camps and programmes and support more families! Charities are increasingly starved of funds and the event really has helped us with our mission to make a meaningful impact that lasts a lifetime in families and communities.
Thank you to everyone who took part, supported or sponsored.
It's not too late to sponsor our teams - find out more here!
