At MAN&BOY, we believe that strong family relationships and positive male role models can make a lasting difference in the lives of boys, young men and their families. As we continue to grow and expand our reach, we are looking for passionate and experienced individuals to join our Board of Trustees.
This is an exciting time for our charity. We are consolidating our work, strengthening our impact and exploring new opportunities to support more families. To help us achieve these ambitions, we are seeking Trustees who can bring fresh perspectives, valuable expertise and a shared commitment to our mission.
The Experience We're Looking For
As we enter our next phase of development, we are particularly keen to hear from people with experience in:
- Youth services
- Education, including SEND
- Family support services
- Public health
- Policy development
- Lived experience of the challenges facing boys, men and families
- Those who have been involved in community-based and grassroots initiatives
These insights help ensure that our programmes remain relevant, responsive and effective, while strengthening our credibility with partners, funders and the communities we serve.
In addition, experience in any of the following areas would be highly beneficial:
- Fundraising and income generation
- Digital marketing and communications
- Technology and data management
- Safeguarding leadership
- Legal and compliance matters
What Our Trustees Do
As a Trustee, you will help provide strategic leadership and oversight for the charity. Working alongside fellow Board members, you will help us:
- Support sustainable growth
- Strengthen governance and compliance
- Expand partnerships and funding opportunities
- Enhance organisational effectiveness
- Deliver measurable impact for the families we support
- Advocate for the importance of positive male role models in boys' lives

Time Commitment
