Reunion Event and Climb and Connect
Last weekend we were happy to host families for a fantastic discovery walk around Richmond Park the aim of the event was to offer a chance for participants to get together for a simple, cost-free activity that brought lots of joy to those who took part. There was plenty of tree climbing and play and the dads and male role models had a fantastic chance to natter and catch up with one other.
We also kicked off our Relationship Building Course at White Spider with families, either new to MAN&BOY or following up on their experiences at the Spring Camp. The whole group enjoyed their climbing experience with boys getting to grips with heights and enjoying scaling the wall. There was a real have-a-go attitude. We must offer big thanks to St. Paul's Church in Hook who let us use their hall to hold the classroom-based sessions, which this week was, "What makes a great relationship?"
Coming up..... Summer camps
As a result of engaging with new referrers and interest from existing ones we are fully subscribed for our next camp....
We're excited about the increased number of referrals MAN&BOY have recently received and would like to respond to this by including an additional 4 families on the summer camp on 21 June.
To do this we will need x4 more tents and x8 more sleeping bags/roll mats.

In response to this increase in referrals we will be adding a Relationship Building Course later in the year and adding more spaces to our Autumn Camp too!
We are really excited to be offering a specialist camp to our families recently resident in Surrey from Syria later in June. We hope to give them a really warm welcome, MAN&BOY style, when they come to camp, with activities and reflection spaces tailored to the needs of the group - we are really looking forward to reporting back to you about both of these events!
