Man&Boy has just finished its most intense year ever! Since we came out of lockdown (running our online program), we have had an epic return to our in-person activities to deliver 5 Man&Boy Camps and 4 Climb and Connect courses and 5 Super Saturday events - all to empower boys to reach their full potential by building bonds that last a lifetime!
Here's the 2021 M&B Programme in numbers:
- 80+ referrals
- 5 M&B camps for 54 families
- 1 pilot of our Dads, Lads n’ Lasses Camp
- 28 families in our Climb and Climbing courses
- 50 families on Super Saturdays
A couple of quotes from Boys about what they learned from being involved with Man&Boy:

“We learned each other’s appreciation of nature how much time we spend on electronic devices and not spending time with each other, don’t need to be totally busy every day. Take more time with each other.”

We anticipate an even greater demand for the Man&Boy programme in 2022, and we expect our 2022 Spring Programme to fill up quickly so please refer ASAP so we can offer our support to referred families.

March 18 - 20th - 2022 Spring Camp 2
Contact us ASAP to lock a family into these programmes! Man&Boy support boys in school years 5-8 (ages 8-12 years), who are struggling with an aspect of life, be it at school or at home (eg. transitions, wellbeing/mental health, learning and social communication issues) and would benefit from developing a deeper relationship with a significant man from their family (dad, step-dad, uncle, grandfather etc.) through activities such as camps, courses and other connecting events. We are able to offer our places at no cost to the referrer or family because of the generosity of our supporters and a number of grants in place to support our work.
