Funders and Supporters

MAN&BOY's courses, camps and reunion events are resourced through a mix of charitable donations, grants, partner support, referrer contributions and spot-purchase commissioning.  We are very grateful to our partners and other grant funders without whom we would be unable to offer a year-round programme or expand our work further into other referral areas.

We have a great team of willing and skilled volunteers who give their time to the charity and we are thankful for this and for the expertise they bring.

	We are very fortunate to be working with the Richmond Foundation and to have received a gateway grant from them.  This funding will directly fund programme places for families from the Richmond area.   The Richmond Foundation provides support to individuals and organisations to drive positive change in the Richmond community, providing opportunities to build healthy and fulfilling lives.
	The Hadley Trusts assists in creating opportunities for people who are disadvantaged to improve their situation, either by financial assistance, involvement in project and support work or research into the causes of, and means to alleviate, hardship.
	In August 2025 MAN&BOY were delighted to be the winner of the Benefact Group draw - thank you to our supporters for nominating us.  Benefact Group is an independent, specialist financial services group which gives all of its available profits to charity and causes.     We are very grateful for the nominations and the Benefact Group's support.
	Thanks to it's members, the Co-op has shared over £58million with 20,500 local causes through the Local Community Fund since 2020. The fund supports thousands of grassroots community projects, with members choosing the cause they want to help.   We are delighted to have been selected as one of the recipients of the  Co-op’s Local Community Fund.  Any Co-op members can chose MAN&BOY as their selected local cause.
	We are delighted to be the recipient of a grant from Community Action Sutton and to be able to directly support the local area with programme placements for Sutton.  Community Action Sutton support, develop and promote the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector in the London Borough of Sutton. They provide information, advice and guidance and can help with a range of issues such as capacity building, governance, finance and fundraising.
	We are grateful for our partnership with Kingston Charitable Foundation and for their continued support.  Kingston Charitable Foundation support local charities and volunteer organisations that tackle inequalities across Kingston. By working together, they create opportunities and through grants and resource sharing, they drive positive change.
	We are grateful to the Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames for providing funding for a number of local families to be part of our programmes.  The Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames's focus is supporting children and young people to live safe, happy, healthy and successful lives.
	We were incredibly grateful to receive grant funding at the end of 2019 from the City of London Corporation’s charitable funder, City Bridge Foundation.  This will contribute over five years to operational salary costs that support the running of our camps and courses.  The City Bridge Foundation is a 900 year old charity which maintains London's historic bridges as well as working to reduce inequality and grow stronger, more resilient and thriving communities across Greater London.
	We are very pleased to have received a grant from the Community Foundation for Surrey for our Connecting Families project, which provides funding for places for Surrey residents on MAN&BOY programmes.   We were also successful in securing a Coronavirus Response Fund Grant to support families in Surrey who wished to access our Connect-In Online Programme as a response to the pandemic.
	We were delighted to receive grant funding from the London Stock Exchange Group Foundation which is funding places on our camps, courses and events for referred families.  We are thankful to the London Stock Exchange Group Foundation for their support of Man&Boy, enabling us to deliver our programme to families in South West London and Surrey.
	The Men & Boys Coalition are a network of organisations, academics, journalists, professionals and leaders committed to highlighting and taking action on the gender-specific issues that affect men and boys.  MAN&BOY are proud to be members of this organisation.
	The Association for Male Health and Wellbeing campaign for policies that support men and engage the public with the issues that effect men and boys.
	We are proud to partner with the Hampton Fund to provide funded programme places for participants in Hampton, Teddington, Twickenham, Whitton, Hampton Hill and Hampton Wick.  The fund has been a vital supporter of MAN&BOY and we are thankful for their ongoing support.
	3i is an investment company specialising in Private Equity and Infrastructure.  The charities they partner with are supported on the basis of their effectiveness and impact. They also support staff giving and sponsorship through matching donations.
	The People's Postcode Lottery is a subscription lottery which raises money for charities.  Players win cash prizes, but good causes also receive essential support.  This year we were lucky to receive funding from the People's Postcode Lottery.
	We are proud to have received funding from the Mayor of London for the second round of the Young Londoners Fund.  The funding is for our Connecting Families - London project which will provide a contribution to places for families in South West London over the next three years.   The Mayor's Young Londoners Fund was created to fund local projects that provide young people with the support they need to fulfil their potential and avoid getting caught up in crime.  It support's a range of education, sport, culture and other activities for children and young people in London.
	Funding was granted to MAN&BOY by BBC Children in Need to provide operational support for residential Connect Camps and Climb and Connect relationship-building courses. We also secured a COVID Booster Grant to help support Surrey families access our Connect-In Online Programme as a response to the pandemic.
	We are proud and pleased to be part of London Youth which offers support training and accreditation to London-based youth work organisations.  We are looking forward to continuing to work with them in the future.
	MAN&BOY have located their Climb and Connect - Relationship Building Courses at White Spider Indoor Climbing Centre since they opened in 2012.  MAN&BOY are grateful for the excellent relationship that has been built over the years and the mazing support White  Spider provide.
	MAN&BOY are grateful for the support of Big Yellow Storage for providing storage for our camping equipment and course resources.   Big Yellow Self Storage for homes and business
	We are pleased to have been funded by The Wimbledon Foundation, managed by The London Community Foundation, to provide core support as we develop MAN&BOY.  The London Community Foundation exists to improve the lives of the most disadvantaged people in London by working with donors to invest in small, local charities and community groups.
	Premm Design are a talented and dynamic design agency, turning fresh thinking and big ideas into tangible results.  We are lucky enough to have been supported by them with logo design, impact report production and so much more!
	Patrick Ryan Associates offer a highly experienced team of façade engineers providing facade consultancy and engineering.  Their director has been of huge champion of MAN&BOY and we are grateful for Patrick Ryan Associate's ongoing support.
