Trevor is passionate about fatherhood and in 1989 he took 3 dads and children on a camping weekend. Called Dads, Lads & Lasses, this idea grew and has supported local fathers and children with an annual camp for more than 35 years. Trevor is married and has 3 grown up children. In 2010 Trevor founded MAN&BOY, organising a camp for boys referred from local schools. This was so successful that a year-round programme of events and activities were created, and charitable status was achieved in 2013. Trevor has led and developed M&B until 2023 and has now become a volunteer and ambassador for the charity.
Jim joined MAN&BOY in mid-2023, bringing a deep passion for the outdoors, nature, and exploration perfectly complementing the organisation's methodology. With over 20 years of experience in the charity sector, Jim has worked internationally in sustainable, youth-led community development and in the UK with renowned organisations such as Comic Relief and UNICEF. His role is to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the organisation, while also supporting the day-to-day delivery of our programmes.
Clare joined in 2024 as our administration officer. She responds to your queries, helps organise everything from the website to reports and does whatever needs doing at MAN&BOY! She also works in a local school and understands just how important MAN&BOY's programmes are to young people. Clare's background is large scale event project management, so she is ready to take on whatever challenges M&B throw at her!
